This ain’t no quit smoking guide. Even though the best health tips for smokers is to just quit smoking, this article is for smokers that don’t want or can’t give up smoking. So here are some tips that summed up will help you feel much better even though you’ll still go along with this bad habit.

  1. Avoid chain smoking. That’s when you smoke a cigar right after another. It’s really bad when nicotine gets into your lungs continuously. Allow some time between your cigar break – the longer the better.
  2. Eat lots of fruits, vegetables and natural juices on a daily basis. One normal cigarette consumes about 25mg of Vitamin C right out of your body, so you need to put it back in the system. Here’s a list of fruits and vegetables that can do that: papaya, kiwi, mango, strawberries, oranges; red peppers, broccoli, kale, tomatoes.
  3. A cup of coffee is Good! Think of nicotine as a bad guy ready to vandalize the city inside you and caffeine as a good cop. That’s what caffeine does – it prevents nicotine from damaging your body. Don’t overdo it! One cup a coffee a day is always recommended, and the cigar should be smoked before you drink the black potion.
  4. Exercise for smokers: Go swimming, jogging or any sport you enjoy (except chess) and gradually increase the duration and intensity to somewhere around 30 minutes a day.
  5. Save the cigarette for after sex. Unless you have some twisted fetish involving cigarettes, you should really postpone your dirty habit till after intercourse. I’m pretty sure you know why, and if you don’t here’s a fact: Impotence has been induced to dogs by intravenous injection of nicotine.
  6. Brush your teeth! You should brush’em two times a day even if you’re not a smoker, but you already knew that. Try using some whitening effect toot paste.

  8. Reduce the number of cigarettes. This ain’t so hard, you should try it. Slowly cut 1-2 cigarettes a week. Try chewing some gum, or maybe some delicious candies. Yummy!
  9. Electronic Cigarette. They don’t contain hundreds of toxic substances and are a great replacement for your cigarettes. If you still need the nicotine, you can ask for it when you buy an e-cig, but you still get rid of all the other bad chemicals in a normal cig.
